Hudelot-Noellat comes from the marriage of two famous families: the Hudelot family has a long history in Chambolle-Musigny, while Noellat is am iconic family in Vosne-Romanee. Today, Hudelot-Noellat winery has a total of 6.61 ha in Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanee, etc, which cover some best Grand Cru, including Richebourg (adjacent to DRC Richebourg), Clos de Vougeot (next to Domaine Leroy, Meo-Camuzet). Jasper Morris MW thinks highly of Hudelot-Noellat. He believes, that under the management Alain Hudelot, Hudelot-Noellat shows a charming, refined style. After Charles van Canneyt took over, the wines deliver more concentration and structure, more aging potential and balance while maintaining the elegance.
