Michel Noellat sits just away from the Mairie of Vosne-Romanee, its close neighbour is Domaine Leroy. the Domaine extends to 27 hectares  with vines distributed from Marsannay to Pommard – they list 23 different appellations in their cellar, including Echezeaux GC、Vougeot GC，and outstanding 1er Cru Suchots、Beaux-Monts. The Noellat family tribe flourished in the early part of the 20th century. Charles NOELLAT, is not only one of the greatest winemakers in the 20th century, but also the mentor of Henri Jayer, and Jayer’s winemaking style is deeply influenced by him. In 1988, Leroy acquired the Charles Noellat vineyards, which become important parts of this legend.
