Simon Colin

The first-ever vintage from Domaine Simon Colin is 2021, while Simon himself is staking out his place in the world of wine. Before that, Simon made his first vintage under the Simon Colin label in 2017 by sourcing fruit from Chassagne, Puligny, and Rully and producing a range of carefully crafted wines. At a young age, he has already gained extensive experience as a vigneron, having trained with his uncle Bruno and serving as the assistant winemaker at Etienne Sauzet. He has also spent time at his father’s estate in South Africa and Oregon. Simon took over 9.3ha of his father, Philippe Colin’s vineyards from the 2021 vintage. Simon is clearly an extremely talented winemaker, the wines have fantastic precision, delicacy and energy.
