Cesare Bussolo

Despite the fact that Cesare has only released a few vintages, he already belongs to the top of Piemonte.

Cesare Bussolo was born and lived in the heart of La Morra. His childhood was marked by the culture of wine and vine. Graduated in 1998 from the Alba Wine School, he started working in the large estate of Bovio in La Morra.

Since 2007, he has worked at the Voerzio estate, has been involved in both vineyards and winemaking, and has become a faithful and indispensable collaborator of Roberto Voerzio. They work together, day by day, and Cesare absorbs as much as he can from Voerzio. Extremely low yield per plant, a very light touch in the cellar, and respect to the container .

2014, Roberto Voerzio leased one of his most precious special vineyards – Fossati, to Cesare generously. For the first time, he fulfills his dream of producing Barolo. Obviously, the work is a masterpiece! And Cesare Bussolo quickly became the emerging star among the young Barolo producers.
