Domaine des Lambrays is one of Morey-Saint-Denis’s most famous estates, its history closely tied to the Grand Cru from which it takes its name – Clos des Lambrays. At 8.8 hectares, this is the largest Grand Cru parcel in Burgundy under one proprietor. In 1981, Clos des Lambrays was upgraded to Grand Cru (the last of Burgundy’s 33 Grands Crus to earn its status).

In 2014, the property was purchased by LVMH. Jacques Devauges, winemaker since 2019, remains at the helm of operations today. Aptly described as “an iron fist in a velvet glove”, the domaine’s flagship wine, the Clos des Lambrays is listed among the world’s 100 best wines in numerous reference sources.
