Hudelot-Noellat comes from the marriage of two famous families: the Hudelot family has a long history in Chambolle-Musigny, while Noëllat is am iconic family in Vosne-Romanee.

Today, Hudelot-Noëllat winery has a total of 6.61 hectares of vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-St-Georges, Vougeot, which cover some best Grand Cru, including Richebourg (adjacent to DRC Richebourg), Romanee-St-Vivant (planted in the 1920s, next to Leroy’s RSV) and Clos de Vougeot (next to Domaine Leroy, Meo-Camuzet).

Jasper Morris MW thinks highly of Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat. He believes, that under the management Alain Hudelot, this first owner, Hudelot-Noëllat shows a charming, refined style. After Charles van Canneyt, the talented winemaker took over, the wines deliver more concentration and structure, more aging potential and balance while maintaining the elegance.
