In two decades of work, Lucien Le Moine has become one of the most talked about Burgundy and Rhone producers, making some of the most sought after wines from the region.

In burgundy, the boutique vintner Lucien Le Moine only produces up to 100 barrels of wines every year, most of them from the outstanding premier and grand crus of Burgundy’s terroir, so only a few hundred bottles of each wine are produced annually with huge demand.

The couple’s second love, outside Burgundy, was at Chateauneuf-du-Pape. In particular, they liked Grenache’s resemblance to Pinot Noir: elegant, silky, rich in minerals. This coincided with the sale of land by the French government, including some famous plots such as Bois de Rayas and Pignan from the Chateau Rayas. So the couple set up a new winery, Rotem & Mounir Saouma. All of these wines show a burgundy-like refined elegance while highlighting the terroir, and the performance is undoubtedly very surprising.
