Maurice Vesselle
Situated on the south flank of the “Montagne de Reims”, the vineyards of Maurice Vesselle, in Bouzy and Tours sur Marne, are 100% Grand Cru. With about 8 ha under vine, 85% is planted to Pinot noir and 15% to Chardonnay, with an average vine age of 35 years.
As part of the association Les Mains du Terroir de Champagne, a group of 16 talented winegrowers who are proud of their terroir and its diversity, Maurice Vesselle is very attentive to the environment and bear values of authenticity and respect for nature. The ageing of the Champagnes in the cellar, without malolactic fermentation, is a guarantee of freshness and finesse during the years of ageing in the cellar.
Maurice Vesselle is known for having a large collection of old vintages, as well as for making a still red wine, the Bouzy rouge.
